Ruffled Plaid & Antler Table Runner

Hello Friends!  I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed some relaxing time with family and friends.  We sure did…My boys were home for five days and it rained every one of them.  Since it was too nasty to play outside, we spent a lot of time crafting, watching movies, playing games, building legos…and making lots of messes!  I’m actually bittersweet about them going back to school today because it was such a nice break to stay in our pj’s all day with no schedule.

Along with all the fun I had with my boys, I actually accomplished 99% of my Christmas decorating…Woo-hoo!  I’m even sharing a tour this week!  You may have noticed a theme with some of my previous projects…It’s still going strong with this one…

Ruffled Plaid and Antler Table Runner-Make it today for your holiday decor! OneKriegerChick.com It’s really not that hard to make…If I can make it, you can too!

You’ll need:

Start by cutting the fabric to the length you want it to hang off the sides of your table.  Then measure and mark where the ribbon will lay.  You won’t want to hide any antlers under there.  I used my Cricut machine to create a pattern out of all different antlers and deer silhouettes.  I then cut out the same pattern out of both a white heat transfer vinyl and a removable vinyl.  The removable vinyl is perfect to use as a stencil.  I used the vinyl as a stencil first to stencil a few gold deer and antlers.  Turned out pretty cute, huh.  Make sure you come back tomorrow and see how I used it in my Holiday decor…

What about you…Have you started decorating for Christmas?  Or are you already finished?
