Hello there!
I was recently challenged to come up with a wedding themed project that can be made in 15 minutes or less…Yikes! 15 minutes is not very long. So…I created a project that I have been wanting to make for a long time and happens to take less than 15 minutes. Win-win!
Wedding Date Pillow in less than 15 minutes…
Here’s how…using iron-on vinyl!
You’ll need…iron-on vinyl or pre-purchased iron-on numbers, pillow cover, iron, and machine to cut vinyl.
I chose the font Plantin Schoolbook and used my Cricut machine to cut my wedding date out of gold iron-on vinyl. Make sure to use a mirror image of your design so it’s not backwards when you iron it on.
After weeding all the excess vinyl, I lined it up on the pillow cover.
Now to iron it on…I place a tea towel on top of my image, then iron on top of the towel. If you are using Cricut brand vinyl, just following the ironing instructions on the packaging.
Once it’s all ironed onto the pillow cover, peel away the plastic covering the vinyl…Then iron over it one more time with the towel in between the iron and vinyl.
And you have a darling keepsake pillow…perfect for your own home or as a personalized gift for a bridal shower or wedding. Make it in the colors of the wedding or to coordinate with the newlywed’s home…

Where did you purchase your vinyl?
I used Cricut brand, which can be found at most craft stores or online at Cricut.com. It really does hold up well. Hope this helps!
This is a great idea for a wedding or an anniversary! Thanks for joining!
