DIY Arrow Art {guest post~Little House of Four}

Hey there friends!  I’m over at Made to be a Momma today sharing a favorite back to school recipe.  Come on over and visit!

While I’m there, I have an extra special treat for all of you…Katie from Little House of Four is here to share an easy DIY project you are all going to want to make!  Do you remember Katie from the Summer Spotlight Series?  She’s so sweet and talented…I am so excited to have her here!

Hello, One Krieger Chick readers!  I’m Katie and I blog over at Little House of Four.   I’m completely thrilled and honored that Ariean invited me over to her blog to share an easy DIY art project with you all today.

I’m a huge believer that decorating doesn’t have to cost a fortune.  I can often be found searching the clearance aisles at HomeGoods or digging through the shelves at Goodwill looking for items that can be updated and repurposed.   I’m not ashamed to admit that I may have also saved a few items from the dumpster.  Yes, I admit it.

On a recent trip to HomeGoods I picked up two canvases on clearance that were perfect for making into arrow artwork.

A couple coats of spray paint later and I had two blank white canvases ready for some fun gold arrows.
I free handed a few arrow shapes and used my paper cutter to cut strips out of gold scrapbook paper.  I then used Mod Podge to glue the arrows to the canvases.

That’s it!  Quick, easy and it only cost a few dollars to create!
