Create Your Own Wallpaper

Hello Friends!  Happy Friday!

Today, I’m excited to share with you a Fun non-permanent Feather Wallpaper

But first…A little about life at the Krieger house…It’s been a fun week around here.  My husband has been busy building the barn he has dreamed of for years…Have I already mentioned that?  It’s turning out Awesome and I am excited to help with some of the design when we get to that point.  I’ll be sharing more on Instagram if you’d like to follow along…I’ve been such a huge help by taking daily photos.  Ha!

Meanwhile…My boys found the mud…We have lots and they’ve been busy playing in all of it…Wherever their little Muck boots will take them…stomping, splashing, swimming…oh yes…

Barn in progress

So, while he’s been working outside…and the boys have been consistently making muddy messes, I’ve been attempting to finish some indoor projects.  I’m hoping this weekend to finish up a couple biggies to share with you next week.

For now, here’s another sneak peek at my dining room updates…

Today, I’m sharing how to Create Your Own Wallpaper Look

make your own non-permanent wallpaper

Here’s what it really looks like…A very small area in my Dining Room nook…

changeable Feather wallpaper

I wanted to create a feature in my Dining Nook (which has been kind of a waste of space up until now)…But I didn’t want it to be too permanent…Just in case I change my mind…I still have work to do (new knobs, touch up paint, etc.)…

You may have noticed I’m into feathers lately…They just seem to fit since I’m the only chick in my house, after all…besides the chickens outside…

gold feather outlines

I was really planning to keep it simple and just have a navy background with the outline of gold feathers.

But, it wasn’t enough pattern and color for me or the space…

So, I added a few more feathers…

Still not enough, so I cut out a few feathers from the same herringbone paper I used in my Feather garland.  I wanted to be able to remove them (just in case), so I adhered them with glue dots.  Completely removable.

Now, I Love it…It makes the space and is going to be an Awesome background for another fun project (accessory!) I have in the works…

I love this Ariean! What a great idea! Love that it’s not permanent because I am ALWAYS redesigning. Getting ready to paint my dining room again and we have only been in this house for going on 5 years haha..
