Feather Garland {& dining room progress}

Morning Friends!  It’s Tuesday, but feels like Monday since the boys were out of school yesterday.  I’ve been a busy little bee trying to finish my Dining Room to share with all of you…

Here’s a sneak peek…

Since I’m keeping the main paint color the same and just trying to work with what I have, I’m adding some fun color and a couple BOLD accessories.

The first area I’m tackling is the corner nook…

Can you guess what it might be?  I made this fun feather garland as a featured accessory…So simple to put together…

Feathers-for-feather-garland

Cut out some feathers out of scrapbook paper.  The turquoise herringbone is from Poppy Seed Projects and the other two are just scraps I had on hand.  Punch a small hole and string the feathers on colored bakers twine.  Hang with washi tape.

Perfect for Spring Decor or to add a pop of color to my newly made over Dining Room Nook!

 Hmmm…wonder what theme I’m going with…

Hope your week is off to a great start!
