{no-bake} Honey Peanut Butter Balls

Hello Friends…Today I am sharing a long time favorite quick, easy and healthy treat…Shhh!  Don’t tell your kids that last part!

My boys get up really early…everyday…There is NO sleeping in at the Krieger house.  And 9 out of 10 days, the first thing out of their mouths is “I need a snack”…Not “Good Morning Mom” or “Mom, after you adjust your eyes and get a cup of coffee and take a minute to wake up, would you please get me something to eat?”  Nope, nothing like that.

Needless to say, I am not quite ready to fix breakfast.

Snack= fruit snacks or some other junk food and for a while, I was just giving them a fruit snack or a bowl of dry cereal to munch on.  But that was before I out-smarted them.  I had forgotten about this recipe!

A couple weeks ago, I whipped up a batch of these and they were an instant hit.

Now, I am ready for the early morning “I need a snack.”  I give the boys a few of these with some raisins or a hard boiled egg if we are in a pinch with breakfast time.  They are even great to take as snacks in the car…I freeze them and have them ready.

Did you see how I made the fun little Heart Food Picks?

If you like this recipe, you’ll have to try out my no-bake chocolate cherry bites…they’re healthy too and a great way to curb a sweet tooth!

Sure…Why not? I think I have before…I just use whatever I have on hand. I have even substituted Agave Necter for the honey. Enjoy…They are yummy!
