Good Morning Friends!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I spent much of mine cleaning, organizing and crafting…lots of crafting…and checking things off my list…Yay! Little things, but the little things add up.
Today, I am really excited to show you how I created these whimsical sentiment pillows using…a Sharpie!
So wish I could claim these darling sayings as my own. My sister actually showed me a picture of pillows with the sayings and told me she wanted me to make her some. I had never seen these and loved them so much I wanted some too! (Turns out, there are many versions on etsy…who knew?!)
So, So easy to create! Here’s a step by step…
1. Gather up a pillow cover, washable fabric marker and a Sharpie.
2. Measure where you want the writing to be.
3. Write on the pillow cover using the fabric marker. It’s okay if you mess up…It washes off!
4. Go over your writing with a fine tip Sharpie marker. I traced over it in a single line first, then added thickness in some areas. The picture shows each stage.
When you like the way it looks, let it stand for a bit. Then take a wet cloth and dab/wipe off the fabric marker.
Fill with a pillow insert or filler and you have a couple fun pillows in your own handwriting…
Hmmm…I may even start making my bed every morning just to look at their cuteness…
What sayings would you use on your pillows?

Those are super cute! You have great handwriting, and having something handmade like that is such a great personal touch!
Thank so much Lyndsay! They really do make me smile each time I walk past…That is whenever my kids haven’t thrown them on the floor!
Have a great week!

I’ve always loved your handwriting. What’s your suggestion if our handwriting isn’t as nice?
LOVE these Ariean! I may just have to steal this idea when I do my room makeover this summer! Pinning! LOVE that headboard too!
These are lovely and I love the way you slipped the “bed making confession” in there at the end!
Thank you so much! I was wondering if anyone would catch that at the end of the post! It’s all about keeping it real, right!? I would love to say that my house is perfect all the time, but that is definitely not the case!
Have a Happy Week!

These are such adorable pillows, how did I ever miss them?!?! My brother just got married 2 weeks ago and these cute pillows would have been a PERFECT wedding gift. They would fit right in with their 100+ year old farm house.
