You all may be finished prepping for Christmas…Is it really the day after tomorrow?! Yikes! I just started wrapping last night and am so far behind! I may have spent too much time crafting and having fun with my boys the past few days.
Just in case you still need a last minute gift idea…Perfect for a hostess gift, neighbor gift or a back to school teacher gift…Why not for a white elephant gift exchange?
I previously shared it on the SNAP!Creativity Blog…But… it’s your lucky day…I’m sharing it again today!
This is my absolute favorite time of year…time to spend with family and enjoy traditions. (or create NEW traditions!)
The cold days force us inside or outside…if you are already enjoying some snow. We had our first snowfall over the weekend, so my boys are super excited…super excited not only to play in the snow, but to whip up a batch of SNOW Ice Cream. Yum! (I actually scooped up some snow and stuck it in the freezer.)
Last year, we had record snowfall… it snowed into May! Just in case we have a similar Winter, I thought it would be fun to prepare our friends (or neighbors if you have them) with a “Just Add Snow” kit…Everything they’ll need to make Snow Ice Cream!
So…Here’s how it came together…
I started with a plain white mixing bowl I picked up at Dollar Tree and adhered some vinyl snowflakes that I cut out with my Cricut machine.
Then I added some scalloped edge tissue paper and loaded it up with ALL the goodies you need to make SNOW Ice Cream…
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Vanilla Extract
- Ice Cream Cones
- Fun shaped aluminum bowls
- Ice cream spoons
- Snowflake Sprinkles, of course! (found at JoAnns)
- You can customize it to your liking!
To print the tag, just right click, save and print as you like! (I recommend printing to cardstock, but any paper will work.)
Let’s just hope we have enough Snow to make Snow Ice Cream this year…Such a Fun New Tradition!
Have you made SNOW Ice Cream before?
