Hello Friends and Happy Monday!
Today I am sharing a darling keepsake idea as part of a really fun 30 Days of Christmas Series hosted by Crafty Night Owls…
I love to do handprint art with the boys…Not only for myself as a keepsake and super cute artwork to display, but they make really great gifts for the grandparents too!
Really…They are just so stinkin’ cute to look at!
Since we have decorated with a lot of reindeer this year, we created Reindeer Handprint Art.
Pinterest has so many ideas for these, but we wanted to put our own spin on it.
Here’s how we did it…
I painted the boys hands with chocolate brown paint, pressed them onto white cardstock and allowed them to dry.
Then, we embellished them with googly eyes, a sparkly pom pom nose and sparkly garland collar. Then, since one cannot have too much glitz, we added gold glittered hooves and antlers with gold sparkly puff paint.
You can customize them to your liking!
Of course, I had to create a fun way to display the little cuties…
So, I painted two small canvases and a clipboard with three coats of Martha Stewart chalkboard paint. I hot glued bulldog clips to the two canvases. Voila…Easy Art Displays.
Now, I can display Seasonal Handprints or Mini Artwork on our new built-ins all year!
Happy Day!
