Happy Thanksgiving…So much to be Thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving Friends!

“Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!”

This is one of my absolute favorite hymns…The one that concluded each church service  when I was growing up.  I can still still hear Rev. Susan Heim Davis singing it…And on this day, Thanksgiving, it rings so true.

So much to be Thankful for…

A time to say Thanks for all that we have…

A day to spend with family and friends…

Too much food to possibly eat…

Thankful my children will never know what  it feels like to be hungry or needy or unloved…

I am definitely one lucky lady to get to spend everyday with these crazy boys…

The Kriegerchick Family

I cannot imagine my life any other way…

I am also so Thankful for…

Day 21…

My Oliver…

Too cute for his own good

Full of too much energy, but oh so sweet…

Always learning…Loves to read…

And would do absolutely anything for you…

He tests me daily, but evidently I need to be kept on my toes!

So glad God chose me to be his Momma!

Day 22

I am so Thankful to have such wonderful In-Laws.

Love our Nana and Papa

I am blessed to have In-Laws who love to spend time with the boys and often keep them overnight.

My Mother-in-Law is extremely thoughtful…she always helps me out with the boys birthday parties and any other party I may host.

She also prepares food for us and will just surprise us with a batch of Homemade Chicken and Noodles.

And the boys LOVE spending time with them.

Lucky us!

Day 23

We (Mr. K and I) are so fortunate to have so many of our grandparents still with us…

And so blessed that the boys have so many great-grandparents to know and love…

Day 24

When we moved to the country, we had no idea who our few neighbors would be…

Well, we ended up moving next door to the BEST neighbors anyone could ask for!

The boys want to escape over to their house everyday…Ollie even snuck over one day and crawled in through the dog door!

They treat our boys like their own grandchildren and our boys think they are their grandparents!

I cannot tell you how Thankful I am to have wonderful, loving, thoughtful neighbors…Please Don’t Move!

Day 25

I am SO very Thankful for all the women in my life who made me who I am today…

The women I viewed as role models growing up…

Who taught me so much more about being a strong woman, a good mother and wife than they will ever know…

Who encouraged me to try new things and reach farther…

Who modeled balancing creativity with motherhood and careers…

My 1st Grade Teacher, 3rd Grade Teacher, 8th Grade Art Teacher, High School Clothing and Interior Design Teachers, The women I taught with, The beautiful women I babysat for, My Reverend who also married me…and, of course, my mother.

So grateful to have so many amazing women in my life…

Day 26

I am Thankful to live in a small town…a place where people wave at you even if they don’t know you.

Sometimes that little wave can really turn a mood around…I LOVE where I live!

Day 27

So Thankful to have all of my boys home for a few days…The house will be crazy and loud and messy, but it will be fun!

No rushing around in the mornings…Movie nights…games to play…Christmas music and decorating and crafts…

Love days like this!

Happy Thanksgiving!
