Hello friends!
I have a fun, easy and adorable project to share with you today! You may remember the wreath my sister created a few weeks ago {Here}. Well, of course I loved it and had to make my own version. I couldn’t believe how quickly it came together…because I cheated a bit!
Here’s how it came together:
Start with a jelly roll of fabric (I found mine at Hobby Lobby and used a coupon), a wire wreath form and a pair of scissors…Yep! That’s all!
If you have never heard of a jelly roll, it is simply a roll of pre-cut strips of coordinating fabrics all bundled together.
The jelly roll is awesome because the fabric strips are already cut for you (See how I cheated…) They just are too long, so you’ll need to cut each strip into three pieces. I also added some burlap strips from fabric I had on hand to add a different texture…You can see it in the finished wreath.
Then just start tying the fabric strips onto the form…Easy peasy! You can randomly tie the strips on or in a pattern like I did. Either way, it will turn out stinkin’ cute!
It works perfectly for me because it looks pretty from both sides on my glass back door.
Here’s how it looks from the outside…Most wreaths are not pretty on the back side, but this one sure is!
I just love how it turned out and the cheery pop of color through the glass door.
Hope you all have a colorful week and don’t forget to link up your Summer wreaths or door hangings to our first ever
Make Along Monday!
